The Oklahoma 4-H Foundation is proud to provide support to the counties of Oklahoma through offering enhancement grants year after year. Enhancement grants can not only help push existing programs to a new level of success but also can stimulate the development of new programs within counties. These grants help expand our capacity to meet the educational needs of the 4-H’ers and volunteers across the state. We are grateful for the donors who support the enhancement grant projects time after time.
Grant funds provided by the Oklahoma Pork Council and Southwest Dairy Museum Enhancement Grants to the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation are available to enhance or expand program delivery and improve the quality of educational programs for 4-H youth focusing on teaching aspects of education (live animals, meat products, and/or pork/dairy industry). Extension Educators, 4-H Clubs, and 4-H Volunteers are eligible to apply for these funds. Grants applications must show how resources will be used to incorporate pork education. While pork products are intended to be consumed, applications that appear to focus on providing meals rather than pork education will be denied. Submission of application is no guarantee of funding.
Witt Family Forestry and Natural Resources Grant challenges Oklahoma 4-H youth to come up with a project that centers around forestry and natural resources. Projects could include but are not limited to forestation health and rehabilitation, fire ecology, water conservation, and wildlife habitat improvement. In addition, this grant also covers educational materials, travel, training, and reimbursement of expenses that are incurred by completing the grant requirements.
The purpose of the Joe Mayer County Program Support Grant is to aid counties in training and development of Oklahoma 4-H county level staff and their volunteer leaders.
New for 2026, you will now submit all applications online via the link below. Unless otherwise directed by the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation, paper or email submissions are no longer needed. This also includes your wrap up paperwork at the end of the year.
